Baud Haus Ops provides technical consulting services across network infrastructure, web development, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and cybersecurity. All services are provided on a consulting basis. Recommendations, findings, and deliverables reflect professional judgment based on available information and defined scope — they are not guarantees of outcome.
Not legal, financial, or compliance advice
Nothing on this site, in any proposal, or in any deliverable constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or compliance advice. Security assessments, threat models, and hardening recommendations address technical risk — they do not constitute legal opinions on compliance status, regulatory adherence, or liability. Engage qualified legal counsel for matters requiring legal interpretation.
OSINT and security authorization
All OSINT and Security engagements require written authorization from a party with legal authority over the target scope, prior to any work commencing. Baud Haus Ops performs no intelligence gathering, security testing, or vulnerability assessment on systems or entities without explicit written authorization. Misrepresentation of authorization is a material breach of engagement terms and may constitute a criminal offense under applicable law.
Baud Haus Ops reserves the right to terminate any engagement it has reason to believe involves unauthorized access, illegal activity, or misrepresented scope, and to report such activity to the appropriate authorities.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baud Haus Ops shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to any engagement, deliverable, or recommendation — including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or security incidents.
Total liability for any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that specific engagement. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability asserted.
No warranty
Deliverables and recommendations are provided "as is" for the scope and conditions defined in the engagement. Security assessments reflect the state of systems at the time of testing. Technology environments change — findings from any assessment may not reflect the security posture of a system after that assessment, following configuration changes, software updates, or new threat development.
No warranty, express or implied, is made regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of any deliverable.
Third-party services
Recommendations may reference third-party services, software, or platforms. Baud Haus Ops has no control over third-party services and accepts no liability for their availability, functionality, security, or pricing changes. Due diligence on third-party dependencies remains the client's responsibility after handover.
Accuracy of information
Information on this site is provided for general purposes and may not reflect current pricing, availability, or scope. Specific engagement terms are governed by the written scope document issued for each project, not by general site content.
Governing law
These terms and all engagements are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lane County, Oregon.
